Sometimes you do have to make your own opportunities, but it helps to have support. The downside to working with animals in any industry is that it never pays well! We people, that have dedicated much of our lives to animals tend to be doing it as a volunteer or part time basis, or have a partner who is financially suuportive. We aren't big money makers and you won't find many dog trainers living in mansions... I am not counting peopel like Ceasar Millan who are actors really :P

I have always wanted to work with animals.. Got a degree but still looking for the opportunity. Sometimes I have been a little lazy too I must agree but after coming across your website and the work you have done... Working towards my goal has become the quintessential thing for my in life at the moment..just reading your blog has brought back all the determination I need to work towards what I started 5 years back.
Thank you for that.
Cheers
